A London Student survey carried out by Opinionpanel Research on the Student Omnibus Survey has revealed the attitudes of the UK’s student population to rape. Key findings were that if a woman was raped while drunk, 31 per cent of students think that she would be partly responsible and a further 3 per cent think that she would be totally responsible. The survey also revealed that nearly half of them think that she is in some way responsible if she failed to clearly say ‘no’ to the man.
