How much would students pay?

PRESS – The Guardian – Students demand value for money over fee increases.

Opinionpanel conducted a survey amongst 14,000 first year students which reveals new insights on attitudes to university tuition fees.

Using the van Westendorp Price Sensitivity Meter approach to examine patterns of price consciousness Opinionpanel found that should the cap on fees be lifted, the average price that students would be prepared to pay is £4,800.
