We’ve been polling of students on their voting intentions and party preference for years. Since 2004 we have conducted over fifty waves of fieldwork with representative samples of around 1000 full time undergraduates. Our recent research note compares voting intention at the start of the election campaign with intentions after two Leader Debates. What an impact they’ve had. Note, we have also produced two reports on The Student Vote with Paul Whiteley, Professor of Government at the University of Essex and co-director of the British Election Survey. The Student Vote 2008 and The Student Vote 2010.
