We are looking for a candidate to join our Youth Research & Insight team as a Senior Research Executive.

We are looking to recruit a new Senior Research Executive to our Youth Research and Insight team. It’s exciting times in the YRI team. We have recently launched a new syndicated research product, the State of the Youth Nation and we’ve commenced a contract with Sport England to help them develop a strategy to encourage greater youth participation in sport, and we’ve built up a great client list including ACCA, Department for Business Innovation and Skills, BBC, Diabetes UK, Sky, Ferrero, Link, PwC and Which?
The YRI team uses their understanding of generational theory with the most up-to-date youth data to help clients win the hearts and minds of the youth market. We handle a fantastic range of projects, from bespoke quantitative and qualitative research to thought leadership to co-creation sessions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a mix of quantitative and qualitative projects including insight community studies. They will be involved in all aspects of projects, end to end, from attending briefings, assistance in preparing proposals, managing fieldwork, analysis and debrief presentations/workshops. They will be afforded a high level of responsibility and provided with appropriate training.
You need to have had at least 2 years experience working in a market research or insight agency, ideally with experience of the youth market. Great communication skills and experience of storytelling with data (qual or quant) is encouraged while an enthusiasm for youth culture is essential.
The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, be an extremely effective communicator, be commercially minded, proactive and have a keen desire to buy into our clients’ goals and help them succeed. The successful candidate will need:
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisation and excellent attention to detail
- Diligence, a hard working and committed approach
- Experience of managing online quantitative (from set-up, fieldwork and tables)
- Experience of qualitative research (insight communities)
- A keen interest in youth culture, fashions and trends
- A good degree and relevant experience
Additionally, we’re interested in knowing about any experience you have in:
- Showing a creative edge with an eye for graphic design
- High level PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Client workshops e.g. in design and (co-)facilitation
