Students own 6k worth of kit

The average student takes possessions worth more than £6 000 with them to university, a survey shows. Students have belongings worth an average of £6 044 with them while they are studying with expensive items ranging from laptops and mobile phones to musical instruments and clothes according to insurer Endsleigh.
