Ben Marks


Ben founded YouthSight in January 2004 and since then has spent his time building up a great team and great client relations.

Ben has worked in market research since 1999, first as a research manager at Hobsons and then as director at a financial services market research consultancy. Before that, Ben worked at Nikkei Group (1994-6) and Financial Times Information (1996-7).

Ben graduated from Manchester University with a degree in History and Sociology in 1991 and from City University (now Cass Business School) in 1998 with an MBA.

Ben has spoken widely on the topic of student and HE marketing and market research, including Youth Marketing Strategy conferences, the Higher Education Policy Institute annual conference, the keynote at the Higher Education Academy (HEA) Annual Conference (2016) and the CASE conference most years from 2005 to 2013.

Ben is a full member of the Market Research Society.
