YMCA Honours Inspirational Young People at the Youth Matters Awards

Events | 14 Nov 2019

Managing Director, Josephine Hansom judges the outstanding achievements of young people at the YMCA's tenth annual awards ceremony.

We were delighted to be asked to guest judge at the 2019 Youth Matters Awards, hosted by our client at the YMCA. The Awards recognise outstanding achievements, inspiring feats against adversity and tireless dedication to provoke change made by young people, staff and volunteers across the YMCA's network in England and Wales.

It was an incredibly difficult job choosing just twelve winners amongst so many inspiring stories, but we were extremely grateful that we could be part of the event and celebrate the exceptional achievement and skills of young people over the past year.

"Every young person nominated was a true inspiration. I'm honoured and humbled to have judged the awards this year and although some people are going home with awards tonight, there's no question in my mind that everyone's a winner."

- Josephine Hansom, Managing Director for Insight

The Youth Matters Awards provide an opportunity to honour young people and say 'thank you' to the staff and volunteers who make such a resounding impact on their lives.
