Becky Taylor, Associate Director in the Higher Education team, attended the AHUA Autumn Conference last week to present: "Gen Z After Lockdown: Trends, Values, Higher Education Choices".
The live conference took place at Loughborough University’s Conference Centre, hosted by the Association of Heads of University Administration (AHUA).
The conference explored the latest themes impacting the higher education sector with a focus on the emerging trends amongst Generation Z.
In our afternoon session, Becky provided a look into the 'big picture' in Gen Z trends, offering insight into how young people fared over the pandemic and what the future holds for universities.
Catherine Webb, Executive Secretary at AHUA said:
"Becky gave us a fantastic insight into the concerns and pre-occupations of Gen Z, and the effect of the pandemic on their university choices and experience. We learned what universities should be doing to attract and support this generation and how best to communicate with them. All incredibly useful information based on YouthSight’s extensive and rigorous research."
